ESS Battery Life in Action

As we progress into winter I noticed ESS Battery life doing its thing. You an see in the screen shot below, from around 22nd May 2021, Battery life has been altering the minimum state of charge by ~ 5% per day as there is nowhere near enough solar to charge the battery. The effect is that the overall state of charge increases over time to avoid damage to the battery.

Although I have a fair bit of solar (45 panels in total) – I get a lot of shade, especially in winter – So I just cannot produce enough power to recharge the battery every day.
